This cold desert mountain spiti-valley in the high Himalayas lies on the Indo-Tibetan border. It is on an altitude of 12,500 feet above sea level. This Valley is a major center for the Buddhist culture and has some of the oldest Buddhist monasteries. In contrast to the usual mountain scenery, these mountains are relatively dry and rocky having a unique structure. There is no human interference with nature here being one of the most remote areas in the country. This is a place where you can get away from everyone and everything and enjoy the quiet, peaceful environment. There is nothing but land, mountains, animals and the river to listen to. Because of the unique experience, spiti-valley trips are becoming a choice of adventure seekers.
